

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I work to create a supportive and structured environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges, patterns, and life experiences without judgment. I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and values.
I integrate evidence-based interventions while emphasizing insight, emotional regulation, and practical skill-building. I support clients in identifying unhelpful patterns, strengthening coping strategies, and developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Throughout the therapeutic process, I prioritize transparency, consistency, and mutual respect.
My style is warm yet direct, balancing compassion with gentle guidance and accountability. I work collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness, build confidence, and create meaningful, sustainable change that aligns with their personal growth and overall well-being.
My main treatment method is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is aimed at helping people live as full a life as possible regardless of the their circumstances. I also use other method based on the needs of the individual I'm working with. I've been a symphony musician, Navy and hospital chaplain, and began my psychology career at a state hospital. My psychology degree emphasized addiction. Due to my chaplaincy experience, I am naturally open to spiritual and religious pathways to recovery and healing, but only in accordamce with the wishes of the client.

Doing psychological healing work is my lifelong passion. As an attachment, system, and relationship-oriented therapist, I work in particular, passionately and effectively with couple clients. I have been getting evidence-based couples training and supervision non-stop for 6 years. My specialty is on treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and cultural, LGBTQ issues with adult clients.
