Welcome! My name is Heather Torres and i am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My education consist with a Master’s degree in social work from USC. With over 10 years of experience, I specialize in providing compassionate and effective therapy for adults, couples, and adolescents. My approach is grounded in a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in supporting adults and teens who are struggling with overcoming stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, and past trauma, by finding tools and solutions towards becoming the best version of themselves. I tend to use a variety of client-centered approaches, such as Solution-Focused, EMDR, IFS, and CBT to support you with identifying and processing your past and how it impacts your present. Through self-compassion and reflective work, I help clients reconnect with their inner strength and reclaim their stories. Together, we work toward healing that honors your identity, resilience, and truth.
I specialize in working with survivors trauma; whether it resulted from childhood, a toxic relationship or an event, we'll work to process what happened to you and move toward healing. We may also focus on tackling depression, anxiety that may be impacting current relationships and discuss how to navigate dating, relationship issues, and breakups. My goal is to help you connect with your emotions, navigate overwhelming feelings, and increase your coping skills.
