I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Northern California with a decade of experience working with clients and families from various backgrounds. I seek to empower clients while being grounded in the realistic restrictions that time, life circumstances, and competing demands can place on an individual. With your expertise in yourself, I would like to work together to create a shared understanding to determine the path forward that works best for you.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I work to create a supportive and structured environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges, patterns, and life experiences without judgment. I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and values.
I integrate evidence-based interventions while emphasizing insight, emotional regulation, and practical skill-building. I support clients in identifying unhelpful patterns, strengthening coping strategies, and developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Throughout the therapeutic process, I prioritize transparency, consistency, and mutual respect.
My style is warm yet direct, balancing compassion with gentle guidance and accountability. I work collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness, build confidence, and create meaningful, sustainable change that aligns with their personal growth and overall well-being.
Jackie specializes in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate life's challenges, such as anxiety, life transitions, and relationship dynamics.
I graduated with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University where I received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and trauma informed care. During post-graduation, I sought out and received training in Motivational Interviewing to better support individuals experiencing mental health challenges while growing in the above modalities.
My name is Claire Pinkston MS/MSC. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADCII). I’ve been in the counseling field for almost 20 years. I believe that we all face challenges engaging fully in life, owning our choices, connecting with other people, and making our lives meaningful. How we think about ourselves, others, and the future has a tremendous impact on how we feel and what we do. My goal is to help you understand the factors influencing your thinking, feelings, and choices, and make changes that will improve your life. I especially like working with people who are motivated to dig in and do the work, because change requires change.
